Scholarships

A graduating senior from Mt. Vernon, Buckeye Valley, Big Walnut, Morgan High, Northridge, Johnstown-Monroe, Newark Catholic, Lakewood, Bishop Rosecrans, Philo High, West Muskingum, Sheridan, Granville, Licking Valley, Newark, Millersport, Fort Frye, Waterford, Heath and Zanesville will be awarded a scholarship to pursue their college education. The student should have at least a 2.5 GPA, a good work ethic, and a strong need for funding support.

2011 Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to Haley Cowans, Shelbi Worstall, Victoria Grace, Jessica Post, William G. Jackson, Jessica Myers, Julia Dougherty, Chelsi D. Williams, Emily Holt, Andrew Howe, Alyx John, Kaitlyn Rice, Lindsay Miller, Tobias Martindale, Stacey Davis and Payden Sury. These seniors are from high schools within the Big "O" service area. They were chosen based on their strong work ethic, academic record and recommendations from teachers or community members. Just as Big "O" is proud to support graduating seniors, these young men and women have high aspirations of giving back and making great contributions to their communities.

The Big “O” Refuse Scholarship award will be available again for the graduating seniors of 2012.
