Big O Refuse provides weekly service. You may use your own container as long as it has a lid, handles and does not exceed 50 pounds. We rent 96‑gallon containers with a lid, handle, and wheels for an additional monthly fee. For efficient service, please have your containers at the curb by 5:00 am on your pickup day.Please note: Limit of one household per account.
Yard Waste
- Limit of five 50 pound bundles per week.
- Limbs should be no larger than 2 inches in diameter and no longer than 4 feet.
- Items should be bundled, bagged or boxed.
Oversized Items
- Limit of one large item per week.
- This includes items too large to fit in your container: appliances, furniture, or carpet that is no wider than 4 feet, rolled and tied.
- Any appliance with Freon must have the Freon removed by a licensed appliance technician.
Special Items
- Paint (only if lid is off and paint is hardened)
Non-collectable Waste
We do not pick up the following items. Please go to www.CFLPSWD.org for information on disposal of hazardous waste.

Commercial & Roll-off Service
Guidelines
- 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-yard containers are available.
- Pickup as requested (daily, weekly, etc.).
- 20-, 30- and 40-yard temporary containers for construction, demolition, and clean-outs, are also available and can be take directly to the landfill.
Recycling Service
Big O Refuse is pleased to provide commingled curbside recycling service. We encourage the community, through convenience and competitive pricing, to utilize our recycling service to help create and support a green environment. Should you request recycling service, we provide an 18‑gallon recycling bin, or may use your own similar-sized bin. We also offer commingled recycling to our commercial and industrial customers.The following categories are acceptable for recycling:
- Aluminum
- Glass
- Magazines and Junk Mail
- Metal and bi-metal cans
- Newspaper
- Paper and cardboard
- Plastics (#1–#7)
